Intern Consultant Digital Grid Operations (m/f/d)

Net Zero is a young, fast-growing consultancy. You work closely with the founders, actively shape our ways of working, templates and tools, and see straight away how your contribution lands in projects: from the energy industry into adjacent fields of transformation. Your responsibilities

• Business development & go-to-market: You actively support building new client relationships, from market research and preparing first meetings to proposal and pitch materials.
• Sales support: You accompany the entire sales process, identify potential clients in the energy sector and sharpen our positioning in the market.
• Hands-on consulting: You work where technology and operations meet, for example advancing control systems or digitising operational processes. Our standard: we advise with a deep understanding of our clients' core processes, from inside the process rather than from outside.
• Analysis & concept work: You research market developments, regulatory trends and digital innovation in grid operations and translate them into actionable insights.
• Project work: You contribute to projects and help shape them.

Your profile

• You are in a master's programme, ideally in energy economics, industrial engineering (energy), business informatics or a comparable course with a clear energy focus.
• You know the value chain of transmission and distribution system operators, ideally first-hand through prior work experience in this field.
• You are interested in new business models in grid operations, whether data-driven, platform-based or regulation-driven, and you have your own view on them.
• You are a strong communicator, convincing in conversation, and keen to drive clients and topics forward.
• Programming (e.g. Python) is a real plus, but not a must.
• You work in a structured, independent way and think entrepreneurially.
• German and English, confident in speaking and writing.
