Junior Consultant Digital Grid Operations (m/f/d)

You have an eye for business models in the energy market and turn the problems and challenges of grid operations into new opportunities for value creation. It matters to us that you have a confident grasp of how transmission and distribution system operators work: economically, technically, in regulatory terms. Your responsibilities

• Consulting with depth: You work on demanding questions around digital transformation, process optimisation and system development at grid operators, always close to your clients' core processes.
• Analysis & data: You evaluate complex data sets and build models and analyses that enable decisions, whether in congestion management, grid planning or operations management.
• Business development: You work entrepreneurially and place outstanding products and services in the market. You understand what the market needs and you go after it.
• Concept work & communication: You translate complex matters into clear structures, presentations and decision papers, internally and at the client.
• Shaping growth: You actively help shape relevant topics that move the energy transition forward.

Your profile

• An excellent master's degree in energy economics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering (energy), business informatics or a comparable course. Strong academic results show us that you know how to really get things done.
• You know the value chain of transmission and distribution system operators, ideally first-hand through prior work experience in this field.
• You think entrepreneurially, spot opportunities early and pursue them on your own initiative.
• You are strong in analysis, whether with Python, Matlab or other tools, keeping the implications in view rather than getting lost in detail.
• You communicate clearly and convincingly, in German and English, with clients, with colleagues, at the whiteboard and in presentations.
• You have your own perspective on business models in grid operations: data-driven, platform-based, regulation-driven.
